Before skating across New Zealand in 2008 I approached suitable companies about sponsorship. Without them the trip would have been harder, longer and possibly incomplete.

Rayne approached me after my original board supplier refused to replace a broken deck. I’m glad they did. Since my trip the Demonseed has fast become the most popular board chosen for distance. The have been used in trips across America, China, Europe, Scotland and South America.

Holey Trucks

The Truck of choice for all distance skates. They have been used on journeys across the UK, Scotland, Europe, New Zealand, Australia as well as Rob’s world record skate across Europe, the US and China. Carvey yet stable up to a decent speed, their strenght has been tested over miles and miles.

Garver Bearings

Chris Garver sent a few sets acorss for us to test on the skate across New Zealand. It was only a few months ago when I was given some Biltins that I realised I was skating the same set I had put in almost a year before. So that is over a year of skating, about 500km and some of the roughest roads and worst weather ever… and I only needed to replace 2. Amazing Bearings
